I finally took some pictures of the valances. Of course, I remembered right after Daughter Dos fell asleep for her nap. They are a little dark cause I didn't want to use a flash.
Those are butterflies on the fabric. I am very happy with the way that they turned out. I want to make curtains for every room in my house now!! I do have to make one for the window in my hallway. And I have never been happy with the curtains in the kitchen!
I don't know if anyone is really waiting (probably not) but I am redoing the draft stopper cause I think that I have thought of a better way to make it. We will see.
I have been knitting too. Making hats of course. A long list of handmade presents await me!!

Too cute-you crafty woman! I need valances for Elena's room, now you have me thinking.....I have a sewing machine, would need material, but how hard is that?
Which pattern and how much material did each valance take? (I'll need 3)
